Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Owlie. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Owlie.

The service

Owlie lets you follow Sources such as YouTube channels, podcasts, RSS feeds, and online communities, run Operations on new Items (filtering, extracting, and AI analysis), and read the Results in your Inbox or receive them by notification or webhook.

Owlie is operated by Mighty Byte SRL, București, Sectorul 1, Intrarea Gheorghe Simionescu, Nr. 19, Ap. B26, Romania ("we", "us").

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and provide a valid email address. Keep your password and personal access tokens secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

follow Sources or process content you are not permitted to access, or use Owlie to infringe copyright or other rights;
use Owlie in breach of the terms of the platforms your Sources come from;
attempt to access other members' data, probe or disrupt the service, or circumvent usage limits;
use Results for unlawful purposes, or to harass, defame, or mislead others;
resell or provide the service to third parties without our written permission.

We may suspend or remove access that breaks these rules.

Third-party content

Owlie fetches content that third parties publish. We do not own or control that content and are not responsible for its accuracy, availability, or legality. You are responsible for how you use content and Results, including respecting the rights of the original publishers.

AI-generated Results

Results may be produced by AI models. They can be incomplete or wrong and are not professional advice. Check important information against the original source before relying on it.

Credits and payments

Some work consumes credits. Credits are purchased in advance through Stripe at the prices shown when you buy. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and do not expire. Owlie has no subscriptions; you only pay for the credits you choose to buy.

Credits are added to your account immediately after payment.

Refunds. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a purchase. We refund the credits from that purchase that you have not used: the refundable credits are the smaller of the credits in that purchase and your current balance, and we refund their share of the price you paid. Credits you have already used are not refundable. To request a refund, email [email protected] from your account's email address. We refund the original payment method through Stripe and remove the refunded credits from your balance. After 14 days, purchases are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.

We may change prices for future purchases; changes do not affect credits you already hold.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Owlie available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add, or remove features. If we discontinue the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can use your remaining credits. Unused credits are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.

Your content

You keep your rights in the instructions, labels, and other content you add. You give us the permission we need to store and process it to provide the service to you.

Disclaimers and liability

Owlie is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You may stop using Owlie at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits, survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and notify you by email or in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Owlie after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
